These unpatented association placer claims are located 
in T8N, R12W, Montana Principal Meridian and are situated in Granite County, Montana. The claims encompass several historic mines that were located in 1893-1895. These claims were worked intermittently until the early 1900s and were acquired by the Master Mining Co. in the 1940s. They were most recently worked in 1983-1985 by a small operator named Cliff Jacobsen from Deer Lodge, MT. Cliff removed approximately 580 ounces of coarse nuggets during the summer of 1985 in about a six week mining period prior to his having a heart attack and selling the claims. This operation is well documented at USFS and the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology, Butte, MT. The principal producer is the Pineau mine.
In 1987, Montana Mining and Timber Co. (MMT), a mining company organized in London acquired the claims and conducted a sampling program through two independent geologists. The bulk sampling done in 1987 showed reserves containing approximately 19,590 oz of recoverable placer gold and approximately 46,800 oz of inferred reserves, all in glacial till overlain by 8-12 feet of overburden (report available).

eoTerra Resources, LLC acquired the claim group in 1998. They are currently registered at the BLM in Billings, MT as GS#1-9 and are in good standing.† The property along with all available records and documentation can be inspected by appointment.
