Drilling on the main creek was performed by the dredge company in the late 1930's. Dredging was done with a wood fired dredge employing a 30-man crew. A 5-man crew, using modern equipment, would process the same amount of material recovering close to 100%. Drilling utilized a Keystone drill to select the dredge path. Results of this drilling shows a 46,000 oz. reserves in the areas drilled.
Location is 2 miles off Taylor Highway for easy access on gravel road, and 5 miles from Boundary airport. No immediate neighbors; adequate water for production. Ground is shallow; 12-18 feet in depth. Lies in an east, west valley for maximum sunlight. The property was previously held by a Fairbanks family for 40 years and has seen minimal activity.
